Discover life at Houlton
Our Approach

This Year's Highlights

This year has been a great one for Houlton and our community with various events taking place throughout the year. We held a coffee morning for our new residents, an Easter hunt for the children, Mike Dilger joined us for a Wild at Houlton weekend and we saw the opening of the children's play park.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We are proud of our track record for community engagement in Rugby. Local Parish Councils, community groups, elected members and neighbouring residents are amongst our wider network of partners. They come with us on the journey and help steer us in creating a place that truly fits with Rugby and its existing communities.

ORGANISATIONS

We have worked with the Old Mortonians and Hillmorton Locks to sponsor their community fun day aimed at encouraging local engagement with the canal community. We are a regular attendee of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore Parish Council and are working with them on a traffic calming scheme through the village. Elected members in the wards of Hillmorton, Eastlands and Paddox help us keep the larger community in and around Hillmorton connected and informed, and we have also supported initiatives with the Fareham Youth Trust and Rugby Round Table amongst others.
